Dehradun, 25 Jan: President Police Medals have been announced for seven personnel of Uttarakhand Police on the occasion of Republic Day 2026 in recognition of distinguished and meritorious services rendered by them to the force. The announcement made today by Police Headquarters, Uttarakhand, states that one officer has been selected for the President's Medal for Distinguished Service, while six personnel have been chosen for the Medal for Meritorious Service.
Under the President's Medal for Distinguished Service, Yogendra Singh Rawat, Inspector General of Police (IG of Police), Personnel/Headquarters, Uttarakhand, has been honoured for his 'outstanding and dedicated service'.
