Sir,
Watching a popular news channel just the other night reminded me of an Arts and Crafts Display in a school, where the TV anchor was the Chief Guest and our soldiers were the school children, all standing around their projects like statues. One child is selected to speak for each project, and he parrots his lines expressionlessly. Here, too, one soldier was explaining about each weapon rattling out what he had been told to speak, while the others stood or lay down in assorted positions with their weapons.
Will someone please tell our news channels that the skirmish/ war is over (thankfully). Stop milking it and move on. I'm sure there are many newsworthy things happening in India and abroad, w...
