Dehradun, Feb. 10 -- In her research, Akriti has discovered that public service advertisements significantly influence behaviour, attitude and perception in youngsters, particularly in areas related to health, lifestyle and social awareness. In case of impact of advertisements, cultural and emotional PSAs were found to be the most impactful. In the research, most of the youngsters acknowledged the positive effect of advertisements in their lives. Demographic factors like age and education also influence the effectiveness of PSAs. Instagram emerged as the most effective medium for advertising as 44.8% of respondents expressed their trust in its credibility. Akriti has also provided data to support these findings.
