Dehradun, Dec. 18 -- Strengthening health services in Udham Singh Nagar district, the State Government has upgraded the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Shaktifarm, to a Community Health Centre (CHC). A government order in this regard has been issued at the administrative level. Along with this, a total of 32 posts across various cadres-including specialist doctors, medical officers, paramedical staff, and administrative personnel-have been sanctioned in accordance with IPHS norms for the operation of the Community Health Centre.

With the upgradation of PHC Shaktifarm to a CHC, local residents will now have access to improved medical treatment at the local level.
