Pantnagar, May 7 -- Vice-Chancellor of the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Dr Manmohan Singh Chauhan was conferred the honorary title of Colonel Commandant. In the Pipping Ceremony organised by 1UK R & V Sqn NCC established in the university, the Group Leader, Brigadier Prabhat Bhandari, formally attached the Colonel's insignia on the VC's shoulders. The ceremony was held in the presence of the First Lady of the University, Veena Chauhan, Mrs Bhandari, Group Captain Rawat and Commanding Officer Colonel Bhatnagar.
