Dehradun, March 15 -- Following instructions from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami regarding land laws, the Dehradun district administration has taken decisive action. In this regard, District Magistrate (DM) Savin Bansal has instructed all SDMs to expedite action on cases of violations under Sections 154(4)(3)(a), 154(4)(3)(b), and 166/167 of the Zamindari Abolition Act within their respective jurisdictions.
The district administration has claimed to have initiated significant measures against individuals from outside the state who purchased land exceeding 250 square meters without permission, or those who failed to utilise purchased land for its designated purpose within the stipulated time or used the land for other purposes.
