DEHRADUN, May 12 -- A young man lost around Rs 10 lakh in an online trading scam. The fraudsters lured him by promising high returns. They added him to a WhatsApp group where messages were shared about stock market investors who had earned big profits.
According to the information, Vikas Kumar, filed a complaint at Prem Nagar police station. He said that on February 20,he was added to a WhatsApp group from an unknown number. The group shared messages about stock market trading. At first, Vikas just read the messages. Later, he showed interest in investing.
