Srinagar, April 26 -- Road accidents in Uttarakhand continue unabated, claiming lives daily. Two tragic accidents occurred in Pauri district today. In the first case, on the Paithani-Chaurikhal motor road in Pauri district, today, a car lost control and plunged into a 50-metre-deep gorge claiming one life and leaving several seriously injured. The one who died was driving the car, while eight others sustained serious injuries. At the same time, one life was lost in the second accident and 7 injured in Pauri district, itself.
