Dehradun, Feb. 7 -- In the 38th National Games underway in Uttarakhand, the state's athletes delivered outstanding performances, bringing pride to the region. Particularly in the Wushu competition, Uttarakhand's very own Neeraj Joshi showcased his talent by winning a silver medal. His journey has been full of struggles, but through his relentless hard work and inspiration from Uttarakhand government's sports policies, he has achieved this remarkable feat.
Hailing from Haldwani, Neeraj Joshi comes from a humble background. His father, Rajesh Ballabh Joshi, is a farmer who supports his family through agriculture. Despite limited resources, Neeraj dreamt of making a career in Wushu and has been training in Dehradun for the past eight years....
