Mussoorie, July 6 -- A major road accident was averted on Thursday near the IDH building on the Mussoorie-Tehri bypass road. A Thar vehicle suddenly went out of control and overturned on the road. A young man and a woman riding in the car narrowly escaped the accident. According to eyewitnesses, the speed of the car was very high, due to which the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned in the middle of the road. Fortunately, no serious injuries have been reported. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police immediately reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The police removed the Thar to the side of the road and normalised traffic.
