DEHRADUN, Jan. 29 -- In a major development amidst the escalating feud between Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar and Pranav Champion, the arms licence of Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar has been suspended. Dehradun District Magistrate Savin Bansal on Tuesday issued the order citing public interest and recent controversial incidents as the basis to cancel the arms licence granted to Umesh Kumar, this decision comes a day after the arms licence of former MLA of Khanpur, Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion were also cancelled. Champion had 9-arms licences issued to him, his wife Devyani Singh and son.
