Dehradun, 16 Oct: Uttarakhand Minister of Sainik Welfare Ganesh Joshi has expressed his gratitude to Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for the Central Government's decision to double the financial assistance provided to ex-servicemen and their dependants. He said the move reflects the Centre's deep sensitivity towards those brave hearts who have dedicated their lives to the defence of the nation.

Joshi said that, ahead of Diwali, the Government of India has extended a significant gesture of support to ex-servicemen and their families.
