Dehradun, 8 Oct: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today participated as the Chief Guest at a bicycle and school kit distribution programme organised under the initiative, "Umeed", with the support of RBL Bank at Government Inter College, Kishanpur. On this occasion, Minister Joshi distributed bicycles and school kits to 300 girl students from 18 different government schools belonging to rural and low-income backgrounds under the CSR initiative.

Encouraging the students, Minister Joshi said that education is the biggest tool for empowerment, and the government's goal is to ensure that no girl is deprived of education.
