Dehradun, March 1 -- The Silk Department will organise a three-day Silk Agriculture Fair in Sahaspur, here, starting on 10 March. The event will be inaugurated by Ganesh Joshi, the State Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister.

During a meeting at his Dehradun camp office on Thursday, Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi finalised the preparations for the fair. Around 400 silk farmers from different districts of Uttarakhand engaged in mulberry and oak tasar silk production will participate in the event.
