Dehradun, April 6 -- Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi visited the Nehruwala area of Dehradun today to review ongoing development works. During his visit, he directed department officials concerned via telephone to take necessary action for the undergrounding of the high-tension (33 kV) power lines.

While inspecting the progress of road widening work, Minister Joshi instructed the Public Works Department that the new road level must not be higher than the local residents' houses. He emphasised that the construction should be carried out in a manner that does not inconvenience the public and that their comfort must be given top priority.
