Dehradun, 10 Jun: Uttarakhand Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi met Union Minister of Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in New Delhi, today.

During the meeting, Minister Joshi presented the Union Minister with Gangajal and traditional products from Uttarakhand.

In the meeting, Minister Joshi sought the support of the central government in enhancing tourism infrastructure and developing new tourist destinations in the state. He highlighted the increasing tourist pressure on popular destinations such as Mussoorie and Nainital and urged that tourism activities be promoted in nearby areas to provide alternative options and reduce the burden on these well-known sites.
