DEHRADUN, April 6 -- A massive fire broke out in the forest near Maggi Point on the Dehradun-Mussoorie Road. The fire caused panic in the area as it started spreading quickly. The flames reached close to roadside shops, creating a dangerous situation. After nearly two hours of intensive effort, the blaze was finally brought under control.
According to the information the local people informed the Forest Department, Fire Service, and Police. All teams reached the spot quickly. With the help of local people, the fire was brought under control after about two hours of hard work. The forest fire caused heavy damage to forest resources. There was no loss of life or property in the incident.
