CHAMOLI, March 9 -- On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami, the construction of a temporary bridge on the Alaknanda river at Govind Ghat has been successfully completed, ensuring access to Pulna village and Hemkund Sahib. It has also been claimed that the alternative temporary bridge has been constructed in less than 14 Hours time.

It may be recalled that the existing bridge on the Alaknanda river was damaged by a landslide, blocking the route to Pulna village and Hemkund Sahib, causing significant difficulties for local residents. Recognising the urgency, a prompt action was taken under the Chief Minister's directives, resulting in the rapid completion of the temporary bridge.
