NEW DELHI, Jan. 27 -- Minister Satpal Maharaj held a meeting with officials from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to discuss the Manskhand Mandir Mala Mission and the urgent need to preserve Uttarakhand's ancient temples.

The meeting took place at the newly-established Uttarakhand Niwas and was attended by ASI's Director General Yaduveer Singh Rawat, Director of Conservation Sundar Paul, State Culture Secretary Yugal Kishore Pant, UTDDB Finance Director Jagat Singh Chauhan, Dehradun Archaeological Department Superintendent Manoj Saxena, Assistant Archaeological Engineer RK Meena, Conservation Assistant Neeraj Maithani, and other officials.
