DEHRADUN, March 6 -- Indian Telecommunications Service (ITS) trainee officers met Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) at the Raj Bhawan here on Wednesday.
A total of 31 ITS trainee officers are on a three-day visit to Uttarakhand, during which they will tour Smart City projects to gain insights into their operational and technical aspects.
The Governor emphasised that the telecommunication sector is the backbone of Digital India and Atmanirbhar Bharat. He advised the officers to focus on technological innovation, cybersecurity, and digital inclusion.
