Dehradun, 17 Oct: A detailed discussion was held today among the officials at the Directorate of Industries on the theme "Vocal for Local". It was underlined during the meeting that self-employment is the backbone of India's economic system. While large industries generate employment on a massive scale, small and cottage industries play an equally vital role in innovation, local productivity, and export promotion.
