Dehradun, Dec. 2 -- In a routine inter-cadre transfer approved on personal grounds, 2021-batch IAS officer Praveen Kumar of the Bihar cadre has been formally shifted to the Uttarakhand cadre. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India, cleared the transfer following due procedure, after which the General Administration Department authorised him to join his new cadre in Uttarakhand. Praveen Kumar is presently serving as the Deputy Development Commissioner of Begusarai and is expected to be relieved shortly to enable his joining in Uttarakhand. His wife Anamika Singh is an IAS officer of Uttarakhand cadre and is serving in the state.
