Dehradun, Feb. 22 -- After continuous efforts by the state government, 29 officers selected by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Haridwar, have been appointed in the Horticulture and Food Processing Department. To provide them with a better understanding of departmental functions, they underwent basic training at the Uttarakhand Institute of Rural Development, Rudrapur, from 18 November 2024 to 8 February 2025. Following this, they received practical exposure through visits and training at various horticulture and food processing centres, mushroom and beekeeping centres, and other external institutions.
