Dehradun, 19 Jan: Following the directions of the Minister, Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Ganesh Joshi, a significant increase has been approved in the honorarium of Agriculture Assistants posted at the Nyaya Panchayat level.

The monthly honorarium of Agriculture Assistants has been increased from Rs 8,300 to Rs 12,391, and the relevant government order has also been issued.

It is worth noting that Agriculture Assistants had been demanding an increase in their honorarium for a long time. Taking their demand seriously, Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi had issued necessary instructions to the Secretary, Agriculture, which subsequently led to this decision.
