DEHRADUN, 2 Aug: In the wake of recent incidents drawing serious attention to the state of healthcare, the State government is prepared to introduce far-reaching overhaul of the healthcare system in the state. In this regard, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that the government's aim is to create a strong healthcare network at the district and tehsil levels.
Emphasising the need for robust administration and leadership in public health. The government is actively considering the creation of a Health Commissionerate with a dedicated post of Health Commissioner, as well as appointing Deputy Directors Administration in medical colleges, on the lines of the AIIMS model.
