DEVPRAYAG, April 21 -- Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and veteran Congress leader Harish Rawat is currently undertaking the 'Ganga Samman Yatra' a politico-spiritual travel aimed at mobilising party workers and confronting the ruling BJP government. The Yatra, though declared to be spiritual, is carrying strong political undertones and is being seen as a curtain-raiser to the 2027 Assembly elections in the state as also a show of his strength within the party, as opined by both the political observers and as senior leaders from within the Congress. He also claimed that he has decided to dedicate his life to exposing the falsehood of BJP.
