Dehradun, May 3 -- Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) received a visit from Prof Anita Rawat, Director of the Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC), at the Raj Bhavan here on Friday. During the courtesy meeting, she presented the institution's annual report to the Governor.

Prof Rawat briefed the Governor about the various initiatives undertaken by USERC to promote science education, research, and innovation in the state. She highlighted the centre's ongoing efforts in organising training programmes, workshops, and outreach activities aimed at fostering a scientific temperament among the youth of Uttarakhand.
