Dehradun, 21 Nov: The Congress party today staged a strong protest against the rising incidents of wild animal attacks in the hill districts of the state. In a dramatic show of anger, Congress workers gheraoed the Forest Headquarters on Rajpur Road here and shouted slogans against the government and demanded immediate relief for the public from the terror of bears and leopards.

Led by Pradesh Congress Committee President Ganesh Godiyal, the party workers began their march from Dilaram Chowk towards the Forest Department building. Police personnel stationed at the site closed the gates to prevent entry of the Congress workers in the Forest Headquarters which led to a scuffle between the protesters...
