Dehradun, March 15 -- In a significant development, the Uttarakhand government has issued an order promoting several State Forest Service Cadre officers to the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Cadre. In this regard, a Civil Service Board meeting scheduled after Holi is expected to finalise new postings for Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers.
A total of seven officers from the State Forest Service (SFS) have been promoted to the Indian Forest Service (IFS). The selection list for these officers has also been released. The promoted officers have been given the selection and IFS batch year too.
