DEHRADUN, March 6 -- In recent years, road safety has become a major concern for the people of Doon due to serious accidents. However, there is some relief as the number of road accidents has decreased in the first two months of 2025. According to data from the SSP's office, road accidents have dropped by 30% compared to the same period last year. In January and February of 2024, Dehradun recorded 91 accidents, while this year, the number has reduced to 65.
This improvement is the result of strict action taken by the police against traffic violators.
