Dehradun, May 1 -- The Police have seized 720 kg of fake paneer from a shop in Raipur area on Tuesday. Two accused were arrested who brought fake paneer to Dehradun. They told the police that the paneer was made in a Saharanpur factory. This fake paneer was meant to be supplied during the Char Dham Yatra, police said. The Food Safety Department raided the Saharanpur factory and found 16 quintals of fake paneer. The factory was sealed.

According to the police, they received secret information that a large amount of fake paneer was being sent from Saharanpur to Dehradun.
