Dehradun, 27 Aug: District Magistrate Savin Bansal today reviewed the progress of pending cases in the Sessions and Additional Sessions Courts and directed government advocates to clearly state the reasons for delay and take immediate steps for their resolution so that criminal cases may be disposed of at the earliest.

Conducting a detailed review of the pendency of cases, the DM also examined the availability of witnesses, stages of trial in various cases, and overall progress of ongoing cases.
