Haridwar, 3 Jul: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today planted a Rudraksh sapling at the Mela Niyantran Bhawan complex in Haridwar under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, in an aim to stress on environmental preservation. On this occasion, emphasising that trees play a crucial role in mitigating global warming and restoring ecological balance, the CM noted that the initiative aims to inspire every individual to plant a tree in their mother's honour, thereby transforming conservation into a mass movement by establishing an emotional connection.
