This is in reference to your coverage 'Over 100 Kalnemis.', Editorial 'Certifying Spirituality' in Garhwal Post dated 14 July '25 and 'Uttarakhand Govt's Operation Kalnemi.' In Garhwal Post dated 15 July '25. While the Kanwar Yatra is a sacred religious tradition for millions, recent incidents of rash behavior and violent destruction of public and private properties are deeply disturbing. Such incidents have become deja vu moments year after year. It is unfortunate that a few elements, under the garb of devotion, tarnish the image of the entire community and pose a threat to public peace.
