Dehradun, May 23 -- A construction company from Dehradun has lost more than Rs 16 lakh in an online fraud. The company manager was tricked by a man who impersonating a sales manager of the well-known company Jindal Steel and Power Ltd.
Rajeev Jain, manager of Bharat Construction India Pvt. Ltd., filed a complaint at the Cyber Crime Police Station, Dehradun. He said that his company needed building materials for a project in Kohima, Nagaland. During this time, he came in contact with a man named Amit Kumar Singh, who introduced himself as the Area Sales Manager of Jindal Panther TMT rebars. He even sent a visiting card and a tax invoice to make his claim look real.
