Dehradun, 21 Nov: The State Government has deferred the proposed hike in the fitness fee for 15-year-old commercial vehicles until 1st July 2026. During this period, the previously determined old fee rates will remain in effect. The decision to postpone the fee hike has come on the direction of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and is expected to provide significant financial relief to vehicle owners across the state from the economic burden caused by the fee hike. The future fee rates will be implemented only as per the next revision carried out by the Government of India.
