Dehradun, June 9 -- It is the endeavour of our Prime Minister and Chief Minister to provide basic amenities i.e. roads, electricity and water to every citizen of the country. However, the irony is that some departments responsible for doing so do not take this seriously.

A classic example is Tarla Nagal, Dehradun. There are so many flats and houses but the road opposite Arboria flats next to Chouhan Hotel is a 60 feet kuccha road. Inside, kuccha road is 30 feet. It causes so much inconvenience to the residents including the senior citizens residing in this area.

The issue has been brought to the notice of the local Parshad and authorities concerned but nothing has happened on the ground.
