Dehradun, 14 Jan: On 21 November 2025, the Government of India officially notified and implemented the four landmark Labour Codes, marking the most significant reform to the country's employment laws since independence. The implementation consolidates 29 fragmented central labour laws into a unified framework designed to enhance worker welfare, simplify compliance.
