Dehradun, 20 Jan: The Government of India has approved a total allocation of Rs 759 crores for Uttarakhand under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment scheme. Of this amount, Rs 734 crores has been sanctioned during the first phase of the scheme, and an additional instalment of Rs 25 crores has now been released, taking the total assistance approved for the state to Rs 759 crores.
In this regard, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed special gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the continued financial support extended to Uttarakhand.
