Dehradun, 12 Sep: The Central Government has released an advance amount of Rs 455.60 crores to Uttarakhand as the Central share of the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) for the financial year 2025-26. This amount has been sanctioned as per the recommendations of the 15th Finance Commission. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for release of funds for SDRF.

Dhami observed that this amount would be spent on disaster relief works in Uttarakhand. He said that PM Narendra Modi has always supported Uttarakhand during difficult times, for which the people of Uttarakhand are especially grateful to him.
