Dehradun, 25 Jun: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Satish Kumar Anand, a Proclaimed Offender in a case relating to defrauding the Bank of India of Rs 5,69,000.

The CBI had registered the case on 5 May 1978 against three accused persons including the then Bank Branch Manager, Satish Kumar Anand, and Ashok Kumar on the allegations that the accused while posted and functioning as Branch Manager during 1977 entered into a criminal conspiracy with Satish Kumar Anand to cheat the Bank.
