Dehradun, 18 Feb: International woman bodybuilder Pratibha Thapliyal from Uttarakhand paid a courtesy visit today on Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, Speaker of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly and MLA from Kotdwar.

On this occasion, Khanduri Bhushan honoured her with a shawl, a memento, and gifts in recognition of her outstanding achievements in the field of bodybuilding.

Thapliyal won a gold medal at the National Bodybuilding Championship held in 2023 and secured a bronze medal at the Asian competition. Additionally, on 9 February 2026, she once again brought pride to the state and the nation by winning a gold medal at the National Women's Bodybuilding Competition held in Karimnagar, Telangana.
