Dehradun, 14 Jul: As part of the ongoing "Operation Kalnemi", launched to crack down on fake babas, police have so far arrested around 82 imposters. The operation continues across the region.

In a recent development, Sahaspur Police arrested a Bangladeshi national posing as a baba. The accused has been identified as Rukan Rakom alias Shah Alam, 26, son of Abur, and a resident of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

According to officials, police have now gathered solid evidence confirming his nationality. An Aadhaar card recovered during the investigation clearly shows that he is a resident of Bangladesh.
