Dehradun, 26 Jun: An awareness programme was organised today at the Police Lines, here, to mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. During the programme, dignitaries and officers present sensitised students and other participants about the causes, harmful effects, and preventive measures related to drug abuse.
Addressing the gathering, V Murugesan, Additional Director General of Police (Crime & Law & Order), emphasised that drug abuse is spreading like a curse in society.
