DEHRADUN, 31 May: The construction of Dehradun's first smart automated parking facilities is nearing completion, with three key installations set to be inaugurated shortly. These projects, undertaken under the guidance of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and spearheaded by District Magistrate Savin Bansal, aim to alleviate the city's longstanding parking woes.
The automated parking systems are located near Tibetan Market, Parade Ground, and within the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (Coronation) Hospital premises. Designed to accommodate 132, 96, and 18 vehicles respectively, these facilities are expected to significantly ease vehicular congestion in these high-density areas.
