Dehradun, April 1 -- Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan officially took charge as the 19th Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand in the presence of outgoing Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, this evening. A 1992 batch IAS officer, Bardhan outlined his priorities immediately upon assuming the role, emphasising infrastructure development and livelihood as key focus areas. Radha Raturi retired as Chief Secretary this evening after a distinguished service with a clean image.
