Dehradun, 23 Dec: A one-day programme on the theme, "Effective Use of AI in the Healthcare Sector", was organised on Tuesday at the Lok Bhawan, here. The programme was organised by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University and was attended by Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) and Health Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat.

During the programme, CV Venkata Subrahmanyam, Chief Operating Officer, CRMIT, Bengaluru, highlighted the usefulness of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the medical field and shared information on the effective use of the AI-based application "Dhanvantari".
