Dehradun, April 26 -- Acting on the directives of District Magistrate Savin Bansal, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Jai Bharat Singh today convened a review meeting in the Collectorate auditorium to assess pending prosecution cases in Magistrate Courts. He emphasised the need for designated Assistant Prosecution Officers to remain present and actively advocate prosecution cases, ensuring efficient coordination with the courts.
The ADM also expressed concern over the frequent absence of Assistant Prosecution Officers in Magistrate Courts, which causes undue delays in case resolution and obstructing the judicial process.
