Pithoragarh, Dec. 3 -- A 45-day theatre workshop is being organised in District Pithoragarh by the Shubhchintak Social and Cultural Committee, Pithoragarh, in collaboration with the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST), Dehradun. The workshop seeks to train young artistes of the region in various dimensions of theatre and emerging visual media.

In the initial days of the workshop, some sessions on acting, music and finer aspects of theatre were conducted by well-known Bollywood and TV actor Hemant Pandey. This has been followed by classes on cinematography by Hemant Pandey's son, Himanshu Pandey.
