Dehradun, May 31 -- Due to the depth of the ditch and darkness, the rescue operation went on from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. There was a lot of difficulty in recovering the bodies of the deceased.

CO Aswal said that there were three people in the car, out of which one person saved his life by jumping out. He informed the police about the entire incident. The other two people in the car died on the spot.

The rescue team took out the bodies of both the youths and sent them to Dehradun Coronation Hospital by 108 Ambulance. He said that the three persons were residents of Dehradun and had come to Mussoorie late in the evening for sightseeing and, while returning, the car went out of control and fell into the ditch near Galogi Power House.
